Cerocshops - General Description

Cerocshops are dynamic, intensive weekend workshops designed specifically to fast track new dancers to freestyle standard,
giving a solid technical foundation of the basic moves with which you can develop a repertoire of more complex moves.
Cerocshops give you confidence and ability. They consist of a small group of dancers of similar ability who get personal attention
from the teacher and their assistant. This leads to a positive, progressive learning environment where improvement is rapid.
Sign up by yourself or with your partner or friends and experience how a Cerocshop can improve your dancing
in just 3 or 4 short hours! Please ensure you arrive before 1:00pm so that you are ready to start on time.
There are kitchen facilities at the venue but you may wish to bring a snack and enough drinks to kepp you energised for the afternoon.
Remember that dance is a form of aerobic exercise so comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended.

You will be taken through the moves in each segment of the workshop and then given practise time to consolidate muscle memory so that the moves become 2nd nature.
There are 12 beginners moves in total but the probability is that you won't cover all of them in one afternoon.
You will however get a good grounding in a fair number of them in the first 2 hours of the workshop.
The 3rd segment of the workshop will introduce you to variations of the beginners moves
so that you can add moves to your repertoire without having to learn a completely new move.
This will give you more breadth as a novice dancer and help you move up to the intermediate class.
The Beginners Workshop is based a class format with a maximum of 40 attendees
so it is more sociable and less intense than the standard Cerocshop format.
